Worst experience ever . unprofessional

and lack of.attention workers and waited the whole day for a psychologist to see in their mental health unit. They didn't inform me it was a psychiatry unit for mental illness people . and told that I was unable to leave that I would be put in a 48 hour hold. One of the nurses eventually made me feel comfortable making it seem like I'd get help when the next day they gave me a drugs not medicine a drug that intensifies what you feel to diagnose you. I spent 3 hours trying to leave the place while being on that drug and was giving me a hard time to contact my family to leave the place . they only cared for the people that had medical conditions

Been here to tithe RE many times this year. The staff are always so good to me. Well organized and very clean now. I really enjoy my stays here.

My husband goes to the wound care center which is attached to the hospital. The laundry dept. never has clean shorts for the patients to wear in the hyperbaric chamber, so the nurse is forced to give semi-disabled patients 2 gowns. One to cover back & one for front. Yesterday, my husband was struggling with the gowns, fell and broke his foot. He didn't feel any pain, but it was bleeding, so they sent him to the ER. When we got home that day, nowhere on the paper work does it ever mention that the heel of his foot broke or that this happened at the Wound Care center. Instead, all they mention is that he has a diabetic foot ulcer and that it was in pain. Never once did he feel pain, but they prescribed him some very strong pain meds that we will never fill or take. Should we insist that they include this in his medical record?

The staff/nurses in Emergency are very friendly, helpful, and caring. My boyfriend who isn't used to the hospital experience was very worried and anxious and the nurses made him feel safe and taken care of. One nurse here also gave me a blanket while we waited. They explained everything (such as what an EKG is and what the blood tests meant). This is a great hospital. Everyone is super friendly and no one gives any bad vibes. We even had some conversations with some of the nurses and they made us feel more calm. Thank you so much!!

My father has been hospitalized here for 3 weeks. I am pleased with the care from nursing staff. But one truly stood out. His name is "Vance", I believe. 2nd floor. Cardiac Unit or so. This male nurse makes sure my father and our family is comfortable and at ease every second of the day. We have been well informed and educated on the post-op care for my father's quadruple bypass. Our nurse "Vance" is willing to go the extra mile making sure my father has a smile on his face no matter what. Our male nurse is encouraging and very supportive. (When on shift) Outstanding. We need more nurses like you. And security does their job very well. They seem to focus and monitor EVERY visitor. Reassuring the safety of staff, patients and their families. Always willing to give direction to visitors and protect us all. I give five stars to this Hospital based on my findings.
